Shipping artwork is a delicate process. I take every precaution to make sure your painting is received in good condition. With that being said, I do need to point out a few things that may seem obvious but still need mentioning.
• During Christmas & holidays, orders may take up to 21 days.
• PO Box addresses are NOT accepted.
• Please read your order carefully for size.
• Please inquire if you would like a quote to ship out of North America (International Shipping options)
• International Shipping is NOT included in the artwork price. Shipping is calculated once the “ship to” address is known.
• All payment options are in the shopping cart check out process.
• If you would like expedited shipping please inquire, otherwise standard ground shipping will be provided to reduce expenses.
• Customs & Duties for cross-border shipping are NOT included in the shopping cart. I don’t have control over these fees, nor do I collect this payment. This is payable to the courier company directly upon receipt of artwork and is dictated from the customs and duties department.
• Once your order is finalized in the shopping cart and payment is received, you’ll receive a confirmation and tracking number for shipping. Large original stretched and paper paintings or are packed very carefully in custom made sturdy cardboard boxes with layers of bubble wrap and will come ready to hang on your wall or ready to frame. The canvas paper paintings are carefully rolled, wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrapped and mailed in a sturdy tube.
International Shipping
If you are outside the USA or Canada and your painting is deemed large (not cost-effective to send assembled) it will be taken off its stretched bars, carefully rolled, bubble wrapped, and placed in a sturdy mailing tube for transit - this service is free.
I do this for two reasons, firstly it’s safer for original paintings to travel this way, and secondly, shipping large canvases in a box can be extremely expensive. So, the money you save with free shipping will more than cover the cost of getting it re-stretched by your framer. Please note that for international orders, any taxes and duties upon delivery are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Also please understand that I will provide insurance for the artwork for the full price and cannot reduce the insurance price to suit your country’s import tax laws.
